Is held on the 1st & 2nd Saturdays of the month. The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) Concealed Carry class complies with the Michigan legal requirements (Section 5j of 1927 PA 372) for a Michigan CPL application. What you will learn: Developing a Personal & Home Protection Plan Self-defense Firearm Basics Shooting Fundamentals Michigan CPL Law and Legal Supplements The Legal Use of Force Violent Encounters and their Aftermath Gear and Gadgets Basic and Advanced Skills This course is 8-hours of training consisting of both classroom and range time. While on the range, hands-on firearm usage/manipulation instruction is provided as necessary. Basic marksmanship is taught: stance, grip, sight alignment, breath control, trigger control and follow through are highlighted as fundamentals to your accuracy. Required Equipment: Handgun 100 rounds ammo (check for availability at retail) Eye & ear protection Lunch/snacks Pen/Pencil (If you do not have a firearm or ammunition, you may rent these items) Please let us know 3 days prior the class of the need of firearms or ammunition. ***Note*** If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will have to reschedule for the next available class.
